Clafouti refers to a traditional French dessert from the Limousin region. It is made by covering a layer of fruit in a dish with a batter and then baking. The finished dessert may be either cake-or pudding-like. It must be served hot. Many other fruits or berries can be used to make this dessert, but cherries are the traditional fruit of choice
