Dahon ng saging is a Filipino term which means "
banana leaves". Dahon is a Filipino for leaf (leaves) and saging means banana.
It refers to a flat, green leaves of the banana plant that is used to wrap food during cooking. In the Philippines, it is also used like a plate, where one can put all cooked dishes and food, then eat right on the banana leaves.
