Kukicha is a Japanese green tea which is extremely low in caffeine. This is a favorite of vegans and the preferred substitute drink for coffee for people on macrobiotic diet.
Kukicha means "twig tea". This Japanese green tea is inexpensive, yet wonderfully satisfying when brewed correctly. It is not a complex tea. Its toastiness is attractively simple and forthright, which makes it a popular substitute for coffee. One thing to be aware of, this tea leaves a delicate sensation on the roof of the mouth, it's hard to resist.
Kukicha green tea can be serve hot or cold, and can make a good coffee substitute.Flickr PhotosThese pictures have been delivered by flickr on a random basis. We have no influence on it. |
