Juk means porridge in Korean. It is made from grains that is boiled over time with a lot of water. Different varieties of juk are cooked by many families in Korea. There are juk made of pine nuts, abalones, sesame, walnuts, and mung beans.
Thin porridge is called Mieum and Eungi is a thin starch porridge.
