Puri

Puri also known as poori is referring to a Hindi deep-fried unleavened whole wheat bread that is similar to chapattis but smaller. Puri which is common in the North of India is a dry, unleavened bread usually made from wheat flour, salt and water. They puff up when cooked on tawa.
