Vipavski pršut / Vipavski Prsut
Vipavski pršut (Vipava Prosciutto Ham) refers to a special kind of ham from Slovenia coated with lard and ground black pepper. It is processed until matured for a longer period of time as compared to any other hams produced in the country, which makes its meat softer and juicier.
Vipavski pršut is a high quality product from Slovenia that it is registered as Protected Designation of Origin.
