Wormwood
Wormwood refers to a perennial plant used as an herb, but is very bitter. It is most often used in some liqueurs and various wines. This plant is native to Southern Europe, Northern Africa, and Asia. Wormwood is banned for use in processed products in the United States because using it in excessive quantities are toxic.
