Taramosalata is a Greek food which means fish roe spread or dip; a paste made from the fish roe (carp, cod, or mullet) which is a popular Greek appetizer. However, Taramosalata is well-known not only in Greece, but also in Turkey and Cyprus. It is often one of the many dishes in a Cyprus meze and eaten as a dip with bread or vegetables.

Taramosalata is also known as Taramasalata or Tarama.
