Nane refers to a flat bread in much of Central Asia. Most often a tandoor-baked leavened flatbread with a flattened stamped center, or lines of ripples. Sometimes flavored with a sprinkling of nigella, or cumin, or salt. May contain milk or yogurt or lamb-fat. It is also known as "naan," "non," "nan"
