Cafe Viennoise / Café Viennoise
Cafe Viennoise which is another name of Cafe Liegeois refers to a Belgian dessert made with coffee ice cream topped with strong coffee and creme chantilly and garnished with chopped toasted nuts. Cafe Viennoise has originated from Vienna, hence it is named as such, but the name was changed to Cafe Liegeois during World War II as Cafe Viennoise sounded German.
