Livorno is the port city in west Tuscany, a region in north western Italy, on the Ligurian Sea. It is also the talian term for Leghorn chicken, a Mediterranean breed of chicken that lays many eggs. It is well known in the Philippines as "white leghorn" and many available eggs in the markets are the eggs of white leghorn
