Smažený sýr refers to one of the street foods of Czech Republic. It is a delicacy on its own and is made from breaded and fried cheese, most often Edam cheese. It is usually  served with potatoes or salad as side dish. It can also be found now in a sandwich form where the breaded fried cheese is made as a sandwich filling
