Tourment d'amour translated literally as "love's torments" refer to the local specialty of Ile des Saintes, one of the French Caribbean islands which is a dependency of Guadeloupe.
Torment d'amour are coconut tarts enjoyed as snacks in the said island which can be bought from the street vendors including children vendors.
