Acqua minerale is the Italian term that refers to natural sparkling mineral water or natural mineral water. It refers to bottled mineral water, either sparkling (gassata) or flat (naturale). A favorite among Italians since the mineral contents (which must be listed on the label), regulated by law, are believed to have therapeutic value.
