Café Brûlot / Café Brulot Diabolique :

Café Brûlot refers to a traditional New Orleans flaming beverage drink or brew made of strong black coffee spiced with cinnamon, sugar, lemon or orange rind/peel , and brandy which are  served flaming.

 

Brulot is the French culinary word which means spicy or burned with sugar. Also means "flaming brandy.

Café Brulot Diabolique, or “Devilishly Burned Coffee,” was invented at Antoine’s Restaurant by Jules Alciatore, the son of the restaurant’s founder and became especially popular during the Prohibition as a means of concealing alcohol.

Cafe Brulot is pronounced "ka-fay broo-loh".
