Mineštre / Minestrone
Mineštre (Bobici idr.) refers to Slovenian Minestrone which is a hearty hot pot made from various seasonal vegetables, rice or pasta. Minestrone's ingredients vary depending on the season. The most widespread types are:
(1) Bobici (Minestrone with corn)
(2) Paštafažoj (Minestrone with beans)
(3) Rižibiži (Minestrone with peas)
There are also various vegetable and pot barley Minestrones.
Mineštre is used to be the most common everyday dish in Istria
