Mallung also spelled Mallum is a traditonal dish from Sri Lanka made from a a mixture of greens and coconut cooked in a dry skillet. In making Mallung, the green vegetables used are cooked without oil, but from the fat coming from the coconut. Typical, Green vegetables or greems used in making Mallung are Silverbeet, Kale, Ranawara, Kathurumurunga, Gotu kola, among many others.
