Quechua is one of the languages spoken in Bolivia. 21.2 % of the people in Bolivia speak Quechua, next to Spanish. Some of the traditional foods in Bolivia are named in Quechua, like Pejtu, Qoqo.

Peruvian Spanish, has literally hundreds of Quechua words, from names of animals and plants: (papa - potato; cuy -guinea pig; yum, a delicacy in Peru), to cooking terms (choclo - corncob; pachamanca - earth oven; and tocos a dish of fermented potatoes).
