Bouchee feuilletee refers to a bite-size vol-au-vent case or small puff pastry which is about 3 cm. long. It is cooked with no filling at all, it is filled after cooking. After filling, it is sealed with vegetables, like truffle, mashroom or carrot that is cut into a circle to act as its lid.
