Curanto refers to one of the Chile's finest dishes which is an all-encompassing, hearty stew of fish, shellfish, chicken, pork, lamb, beef and potato. Curanto is made from lots of sea food, beef, chicken and pork, potatoes, cheese , and potato "burguers", prepared in a hole in the ground ("en hoyo") or in a pot ("en olla ").
