Ladu refers to the traditional and classic Comoran (Comoro's) dessert made of ground rice mixed with sugar and Ghee which is boiled until almost solid and shaped into bricks before serving. Comoros is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, located off the eastern coast of Africa on the northern end of the Mozambique Channel between northern Madagascar and northeastern Mozambique.
