Vintage coffee, also known as aged coffee refers to coffee that is held in warehouses for several years, sometimes deliberately, and in other times inadvertently. The aging, due to long storage, reduces acidity and increases body of coffee. Aged coffee has been held longer than old crop or mature coffee. In recent years, some Indonesian coffee were subjected to a sort of accelerated aging involving deliberate exposure to moist air, like the monsooned coffee of India.
