Lobio refers to one of Georgia's food which is a cross between bean soup and refried beans; it almost resembles Mexican bean dishes. Lobio must be eaten with corn bread called Mchadi for full effect and hearty meal. Georgia is a small country in the Caucasus, surrounded on the north by Russia, on the east by Azerbaijan, on the south by Armenia and Turkey, and on the west by the Black Sea.
