Lihapiirakka refers to Finland's meat pasty. It isa pasty of yeast dough or puff pastry filled with cooked and seasoned ground meat into which rice, onion, chopped hard -boiled eggs or other ingredients may be added. Pasties can be baked in oven or deep-fried.
