Thabuot is the Burmese word for "Luffa", a kind of vegetable used for cooking. While living in Germany, I searched for this vegetable, but I never found some even in Asian stores.

In the Philippines, my home country we also eat this vegetable with "Misua", a flour noodle and we call this in my country Patola. (Please see related article and Pictures on Patola)
