Ploughman's Lunch refers to a casual British lunch of crusty bread, butter, cheese, and pickles. Ploughman's Lunch is the most common pub meal which consists of local cheese, a crusty white or brown bread, some butter, and a pickled onion or two, washed down with ale. There are also some variations though, like pate and chutney occasionally replacing the onions and cheese.
