Batil Patung is the Tuguegarao version of pancit. It is made of local noodles, generously topped with hot dogs, crunchy chicharon bits, ground meat, fried egg, and vegetables.

The "batil" is a warm egg soup, which is poured over the pancit hence the term "patung" (to cover or place over). This dish did the trick; it had all the requisite flavors one looks for, enough to make it a meal in itself.

Tourists are allowed to witness the actual preparation of this local delicacy in some local panciterias in Tuguegarao City.
