Bihun Goreng refers to Indonesian "Fried Rice Noodles". This dish utilizes rice noodles which is made of rice flour and water and cooked in various ways like the Mie Goreng. It is cooked with different kinds of vegetables, with meats or seafoods. My mom's Filipino "Pancit Bihon" is one of my favorites.
Rice noodles are most commonly used in the cuisines of East and Southeast Asia, and are available fresh, frozen, or dried, in various shapes and thicknesses. They are many varieties of rice noodle, and one of them is Rice Vermicelli which is a part of several Asian cuisines, where they are often eaten as part of a soup dish, stir fry, or salad.
