Hapunan
Hapunan is a Filipino term which means dinner or supper. Similar to the tanghalian, a typical hapunan or dinner for a Filipino family usually consists of rice and one or two types of main dishes. However, much more time and effort are devoted to the preparation of this meal. The reason for this is that after a long day in the office or school the hapunan becomes the venue by which family members can all sit together and share not only the meal but also to tell each other how their day has been.
