Kapet is an Ilocano dish which is made of glutinous rice. It is similar to Tikoy or a Tikoy itself, but rolled with Latik .
Tikoy is one of the popular Chinese foods introduced in the Philippines and has become one of Filipino sweets/desserts or snacks. Tikoy is made up of ground Malagkit (glutinous rice flour), wheat starch, lard, water, and sugar/condensed milk. It is a popular give away gift from the Chinese during the "Chinese New Year" in the Philippines in traditonal red boxes.
