Zhimaqiu are "Sesame Balls". They are fried rice balls stuffed with a sweet filling, usually red bean paste or lotus paste and covered in sesame seeds. This is popular northeastern Chinese snack and still very popular in Beijing. They are best served warm.

Sesame Balls are also available in many Chinese stores in the Philippines, but with a different name.
