Cock-A-Leekie refers to chicken and leek soup. It is a Scottish soup with a chicken and veal stock, chicken, leeks and prunes.

Cock-A-Leekie is claimed by many to be the other national soup of Scotland. It has been served in Royal Palaces for banquets and in much humbler dwellings in Scotland since the sixteenth century. In many Scottish homes, broth is not only a favorite in cold winter months, but also all year round.
