Guisat de Peix refers to a fish stew with potatoes. One of Ibiza's specialty dishes. Guisat Peix which is also known as Guiso de Pescado is cooked in shallow pans with different species of fish, potatoes and peppers.

- Guk (Juk) : Guk is the Korean generic word for "Soup". It is also known as "Juk". In Korea, soup is an essential dish when rice is served. There are various iIngredients used to prepare Korean large variety of soups, including vegetables, meat, fish, shellfish, seaweed, and beef bones, ox tails, and many others. Among the many kinds of Korean soups are: Haejang-Guk, Kongnamul-Guk and many others.

Gukhwaju (Chrysanthemum Rice Wine ) refers to a Korean rice wine which is flavored by adding dried chrysanthemum petals to the wine during maturation.

Guksu-Jeongol or Guksu Jeongol refers to Korea's noodle casserole. It is a noodle hot pot dish that contains meat and vegetables in rich broth. The noodles are added just before the other ingredients have finished cooking and they help thicken the soup. Moreover, it is a noodle stew which is made from noodles, meat, and vegetables boiled together at your table in a large covered metal pan.

Gul is "Rose" or "rosewater" in Turkey.
