Nohut is the Turkish word for "chickpea" which is used in Turkey as an ingredient for many dishes, such as Iskembeli Nohut Yahnisi (chickpea stew with chopped tripes), Nohut Yahnisi (chickpea stew) and Etli Nohut (chichpea stew with meatsauce )
