- Food Trivia: Alcohol in Faroe Island, Rusdrekkasolin Landsins : Although alcohol is more readily available in the Faroe Island, it is restricted by some legislations. Going into the local supermarkets to buy alcohol would result nothing as alcohol is not available in the shops. The only place to buy any form of alcohol (beer, wine, or spirits) in Faroe Island is from Rusdrekkasolin Landsins which literally means "the country's alcohol sale". It is a state-run monolith that has the responsibilty on all things regarding alcohol.

- Food Trivia: Belgian French Fries : Belgian '"Frites" or French Fries are probably the best in the world. They are prepared with utmost care and usually fried in at least two or even three stages to obtain their typical crispness and flavour. "Frites" is the number one snack in Brussels or the whole of Belgium. All around are chip stalls selling the most delicious hot chips, french fries, fries, frites which can be bought either with or without mayonnaise. This snack is mostly served in a cone-shaped bag.

Fideua

Fideua refers to the local pasta speciality of Moraira. The pasta is cooked in seasoned seafood stock, just like the paella, and then served with pieces of squid and vegetables. Moraira is situated on the northern coast of the Costa Blanca and approximately 50 miles north of Alicante, Spain.

Filema

Filema refer to the Greek "offerings" of foods, sweets, and drink which are given to visitors as part of their traditional hospitality. Filema is from the Greek word "filoxenia" which means "hospitality" or "love of the stranger". The Greek people still practise the age-old custom of hospitality, or Filoxenia. In Greece, strangers are often welcomed in villages where locals still believe a visitor brings good luck.
