Pako (arthyrium esculentum) refers to the Philipppines "Edible Fern" which is mostly made into a salad. In the Philippines, the best Pako salad I have tasted was from Cusina ni Salud, a family-owned restaurang located in San Pablo City in Laguna. Simple, yet so delicious and healthy.
