Arisa Pithas refer to the popular home-made cakes from Orissa, India. Arisa Pithas is a kind of sweet/delicacy well-known all over Orissa that is prepared from rice flour, powdered cinnamon, jaggery syrup and vegetable oil or ghee . The small balls of rice dough are rolled and deep fried. Arisa Pithas is similar to Kachoris, they are both easy to prepare and can be stored for few days.
