Strammermax / Strammer Max refers to Germany's type of ham and egg sandwich. It is made of buttered brown bread topped with ham (Scheiben Schinkenspeck) and sunny side up fried eggs (Spiegeleier).
Strammermax is called as Katerfrühstück, a German word which means "a morning after breakfast", the morning after all activities in the evening, like partying, disco dancing, etc.
Strammermax are usually available in pubs/bars (Kneipe in German), restaurants and street stalls as snacks and are mostly eaten with beer. It an also be ordered sometimes anytime of the day in some small restaurants.

Storage:
1. Use properly sealed plastic bags or glass jars. Store at 70 degrees or lower.
2. You can store at 32 to 35 degrees in refrigerator for up to 18 months, if sealed well.
Shab deg is a beautiful Blend of whole turnips, Kashmiri ver, mutton balls and spices cooked in a "deg" through the night or "shub".
Shuba also spelled Schuba refers to Russian herring salad. Shuba literally means "fur coat" or "under fur coat" as it is said to look like a "fur coat" (herring topped with red beets) . It is a layered salad made with finely diced salted herring with chopped onions, carrots, potatoes, beets and chopped Hard boiled egg and mayonnaise.
Shuba is also known as Seledka Pod Shuboi?.
Schichtkäse refers to curd Cheese made from cow's milk (cream Cheese and cottage Cheese combined). It is one of the specialties from state of Bavaria in Germany. It is similar to Quark (another German product) but a bit harder. Schichtkäse is traditionally used to Bake cheesecakes. Can be used in a way as Quark in preparing sweets/desserts and savory dishes.
Smalec refers to a Polish food; pork drippings; a lard in a solid form which is used as bread spread or spread on breads. In Germany, it is called Schmalz and mostly available during winter time. The Polish Smalec, is said to taste best when served with slices of homemade bread and Polish beer. It is considered as an Appetizer and is often served prior to a meal.
Personal Note: Smalec is one of the foods that evoked childhood memories, my mother used to make this pork Drippings when we were young, since we were poor there were times when we didnt have enough food, so my mother used lard by mixing it to a newly cooked rice with salt or Patis (fish sauce ). So delicious. In Germany, I used Schmalz to spread on my bread when I want a savory breakfast.
