Bauernfrühstück is the German word which literally means "farmers' breakfast". It refers to a hearty breakfast that usually consists of bacon (speck) or ham, fried potatoes, onion and scrambled eggs.
Bauer means farmer and frühstück means breakfast. It is popular in Bavaria , as well as in other German states.

Buddha's hand which is also known as Buddha's Hand citron, or Fingered citron (Citrus medica var.sarcodactylus) is a fragrant citrus fruit. The Buddha's Hand citron is an exotic variety that grows in the shape of a hand with projecting fingers. It is commonly grown for its aroma and for its thick peel for candying.
Blind bake means to bake a pie crust without a filling. There are several techniques used to ensure that the pie crust holds it shape when baked empty. Pie weights can be placed in the shell to keep it from puffing. The shell can be lined with foil and dried beans or peas. Pricking the crust with a fork before baking also helps the crust keep its shape.
