Balakwit, a type of edible seashell found and consumed in the Philippines, particularly in Marinduque, Philippines. Marinduque is an island near Quezon Province .

My friend who lives in Cebu, in the Visayas Island of the Philippines said that this seashell is called Aninikad in Cebu and usually cooked with coconut milk or gata.
