Khachapuri refers to Georgia'swarm, gooey cheese-stuffed bread. It is the traditional cheese-bread of Georgia. In addition to the standard round pie with cheese stuffing or filling, there are other varieties of Khachapuri, including Adjarian Khachapuri which is topped with egg, the Lobiani (bean-stuffed), the four-fold filo dough pocket, and tarragon, mushroom and rice-stuffed pies and with leek stuffing in Svaneti, a province in the northwestern part of Georgia.
Khachapuri is mostly served freshly made at breakfast, but is also a common sight at lunch and dinner tables. Likewise, Khachapuri stands are found on almost every street corner of the country, but the best Khachapuri are those cooked and prepared at Georgian homes. It is said that Khachapuri is very addictive.

Khachapuri Achma this is a large variety which is arrange in layers of bread and cheese that looks like a sauceless lasagna. Melted cheeses are layered in between thinly sliced sheets of egg dough that are lightly browned in the oven. Khachapuri Achma is served in small rectangular squares.
Khachapuri Achma is a variety of Khachapuri from Abkhazia, in the northwest of Georgia where it is simply called Achma.
Khachapuri Imeruli refers to a variety of Georgian Khachapuri which is very simple as it has only melted cheese as its filling or stuffing. Khachapuri Imeruli is filled with a mildly sour cheese called Imeruli. The cheese is enveloped in the dough, then flattened, baked, and served in a round dish resembling a sauceless pizza pie.
Khachapuri Imeruli is the most common form of Khachapuri that comes from the central province of Imereti. This region's provincial capital is one of the most ethnically Georgian cities with a less diverse population than in other areas.
Khachapuri Megruli refers to a round Kachapuri with cheese in the middle and more melted cheese on top.
Khachapuri Penovani refers to a square variety of Georgian Khachapuri which is neatly folded into four quarters , with cheese filling inside a very light crust.
