Berliner

Berliner refer to German doughnuts/donuts filled with marmalade or jam. It is also called Berliner Pfannkuche. It is made from yeast dough and fried in oil or fats/lard (Schmalz).

They are usually topped with icing (Zuckerguss ), regular sugar (Zucker) or confectioner's sugar (Puderzucker/Staubzucker)

Berliner Pfannkuche

Berliner Pfannkuche is another name for German donuts/doughnuts without a hole that is filled with jam. t is popularly known as Berliner in Northern Germany.

Berner Platte / Bernese Platter

Berner Platte (Bernese Platter) refers to one of the traditional Bernese meat dishes that consists of beef, smoked pork and beef tongue, smoked belly bacon, Rippli (smoked pork loin), Schüfeli (shoulder of pork), Gnagi (knuckle of pork), Zungenwurst (tongue sausage), pigs' ears and other types of spicy sauces. The meat and sausage varieties are cooked with Sauerkraut flavoured with juniper and served with dried broad beans, salted potatoes, Sauerkraut and mustard sauce.

Bern is one of the Regions (Canton) in Switzerland.

Berros

Berros is the Canary Islands' name for "Watercress". It is a leafy vegetable that is particularly popular in the Canary Islands, unlike in other parts of Spain.

Besh Barmak

Besh Barmak is the National Dish of Kyrgyzstan. The name 'Besh Barmak' means five (5) fingers. This dish is named so because it is eaten with hands. It is the final dish of a typical three (3)- course Kyrgyzstan meal. The dish is usually prepared for special celebrations such as weddings or house warming. Pieces of meat is put in a large pot with onions and boiled for two hours. Then noodles are boiled in the same water to give it a meaty flavor. The final dish is basically a thick broth of meat and noodles.

Beshbarmak refers to noodles with shredded, boiled meat in bouillon. Around Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan, the noodles are sometimes served with jellied potato starch rather than meat.

Beshkarmak / Besh Barmak

- Beshkarmak / Besh Barmak : Beshkarmak refers Kazakhstan's national meat dish and most popular dish. Beshkarmak literally means "five fingers" because of the manner in which it is eaten. Beshkarmak is made of large chunks of boiled meat which the host cuts and serves to each guest according to their importance: the pelvic bones and shin to the elderly guests of honor, the brisket to the son or daughter-in-law, the cervical vertebra to girls and so on. In Kazakhstan, the highest ranking guest is served a sheep's head cooked in a special way and distributes it to other guests according to local tradition (old men, children, close and distant relatives).
