Pirozhki refers to Russian traditional food which is described as small buns that contains varieties of fillings which are baked or fried. Pirozhki is probably the Russian counterpart of pie. They come both in sweet and savoury, with fillings varying from stewed apples and fresh fruit to cottage cheese, vegetables, boiled eggs, fish and meat.
Pirozhki get their common golden appearance from an egg glaze before they are cooked. Greeks and Latvians also have their own version of Pirozhki.
Pirurutung is referring to a dark Purple colored rice found in the Philippines
Pisang Goreng refer to Indonesian fried bananas. Pisang Goreng or banana fritters are very popular in Indonesia and are excellent served with ice cream and drizzled with honey. It can also also serve in a dish with a little coconut cream. Pisang Goreng is also popular in Malaysian and Singapore.
Pisang Goreng is also one of the foods sold by the food hawkers in Singapore. One of the food hawkers center in Singapore is called Maxwell Market where varieties of foods are being , such as Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian and Indian foods.
Piscola refers to a basic combination of Pisco (mixed with) and Cola (Coke), one of the typical drinks in Chile.
Piskoty refers to sponge biscuits from the Czech Republic. They are soft like a Biscuit and slightly sweet. Kids love them and they are popping up in more and more Czech and Slovak recipes.
Piskoty are extremely sweet and have the consistency of a biscuit. There is a large variety of these sweets available in Czech Republic.
