Bublik refers to Russian round bread, knot-shaped biscuit, large doughnut made from wheat dough. The wheat dough is boiled at first and then baked to make the Bublik.
Likewise, Bublik is a traditional Russian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian , and Polish (obwarzanek) bread roll very similar to bagels; however it is somewhat bigger, has a wider hole and a much denser and chewier texture.
Barfi refers to an Indian fudge-like dessert made from condensed milk which is cooked slowly and reduced to fudge-like consistency. To flavor the Barfi, ingredients like pistachio, almonds, saffron, vanilla essence, cocoa, rose water, or other flavors of choice can be added. Dessicated coconut can also be used to prepare this sweet. It is served and eaten in bite-sized pieces and very popular as after-dinner dessert.
