Morcizas

Morcizas refers to one of Chamorro traditional foods made of chicken neck stuffed with chicken meat, pepper leaves, onions and garlic, tied at both ends and stewed in broth. The Chamorro people arrived on Guam from the Malay Peninsula around 3000 BCE, and they occupied the island alone until Ferdinand Magellan landed there in 1521. Having survived invasions by the Spanish, the Japanese and the Americans, they still comprise 43 per cent of the island's population, and they have managed to retain their cultural identity, including language, customs and cuisine.

Morelia Gaspacho

Morelia Gaspacho refers to a different type of Gazpacho found in the city of Morelia, Mexico. Morelia Gaspacho is a mixture of finely chopped fruits and vegetables ordered to taste. It may consists of fresh mango, pineapple, jicama, papaya, watermelon and other fruits which are combined with cucumber and then doused or dusted with choosen condiments, like lime or orange juice, chili powder, hot sauce, or even onions and powdered cheese (of the Cotija type). Morelia Gaspacho is also known as Gazpachos Morelianos, Gaspachos de Morelia, Morelia-Style Gaspacho, or Morelia Gazpacho. Morelia is sutuated in northern Mexico.
